Mandated Reporter Training
MEETS 2023 STANDARDS
This is a pre-recorded 2 hour training to meet the New York State (NYSED) requirements for training in the identification and reporting of child abuse & maltreatment. This training has been UPDATED to meet the 2023 NYSED requirements.
Anyone on the list of mandated reporters in New York State can take this training. The requisite certificate will promptly be provided to participants who watch the video, and successfully complete the post-test quiz.

This is a pre-recorded 2 hour 15 minute training to meet the New York State (NYSED) requirements for training in the identification and reporting of child abuse & maltreatment AND child abuse in educational settings.
This training meets the 2023 NYSED requirements.
This training is designed for any and all school personel. The requisite certificates will promptly be provided to participants who watch the videos, and successfully complete the post-test quiz.

This is a pre-recorded 2 hour training specifically designed to address the unique challenges social workers and social work students face in their role as mandated reporters.
This course is applicable to social workers in ANY state. However, the course meets the New York State (NYSED) requirements for training in the identification and reporting of child abuse & maltreatment. This training has been UPDATED to meet the 2023 NYSED requirements.
A certificate of completion will promptly be provided to participants who watch the video, and successfully complete the post-test quiz.

Dr. Kathryn Krase is an expert on the professional reporting of suspected child maltreatment. She has authored multiple books and articles on the subject. She has years of experience consulting with government and community based organizations to develop policy & practice standards.

Need individual or organizational training on mandated reporting?
Dr. Krase has existing training modules from 30 minutes to 7 hours long, available on-demand, in-person or live-online. She can also work with you/your organization to tailor training to your specific needs.
Rates for the basic 2 -3 hour existing training modules provided live-online to groups of up to 20 participants start at $500. Continuing education credits , as well as NYS Identification & Reporting of Child Maltreatment certification, are available for an additional fee.
